All of my products are made in a kitchen where gluten, nuts, dairy, eggs, peanuts, and cacao are used. While I take precautions, I cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination. However, I do offer gluten-free and vegan-friendly options for those with dietary preferences.

How much do your cakes cost?

It’s best to inquire as soon as you’ve booked your venue, as I take on a limited number of wedding cakes each month. During wedding season, dates fill up quickly! If you’re not sure about the style or overall wedding concept yet, that’s absolutely fine—we can discuss that after booking.

Due to the delicate and fragile nature of my cakes, I do not offer cake collection. I want to ensure that your wedding cake arrives in perfect condition, so I take care of every detail by personally delivering and setting up your cake on the big day.

Can we collect our wedding cake?

I offer a carefully curated menu of flavors that work beautifully in wedding cakes, but I’m always happy to discuss special requests. If you have a favorite flavor in mind, let me know, and I’ll see if I can create something similar for you.

After booking, you can sign up for a complimentary tasting. Choose between a luxury tasting box for you to sample the flavors in the comfort of your own home, or an in-studio tasting paired with a face-to-face design consultation. I recommend scheduling your tasting around six months before your wedding.

Do you offer tastings?

I have a selection of beautiful cake stands and plinths available for you to use, allowing you to choose one that fits the aesthetic of your wedding. Stand hire fees generally range from €25 to €35 per stand. A damage deposit of €100 for cake stands and €300 for plinths is required and will be refunded when the stand and/or plinth is returned to my studio clean and undamaged within five days of your wedding. If you'd like me to collect the items after your wedding, a collection fee of € 35 + €0.50 per kilometer will apply.

Do you provide a cake stand?

A good rule of thumb is to order for 85-90% of your guest count, including children.

How much cake do we need?

...and Cake Stories is located in Bovenkarspel, a little village north from Amsterdam. I deliver wedding cakes across the Netherlands. In case of delivery on "de Waddeneilanden", additional fees apply. I have delivered cakes in Italy, France and Belgium. I occasionally offer them during the off-wedding season. Feel free to get in touch to check availability.

Do you make celebration cakes?

You can cancel your order in writing (by e-mail) up to eight weeks before your wedding day. If cancellation occurs within eight weeks of your wedding day, full payment will still be required. If the final balance hasn’t been paid yet, it will be due immediately upon cancellation. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable if the order is canceled.
